Wellington Encore Session: Danny & Cathy

Sometimes I still find it hard to believe when I receive emails from people saying how they love my work.
I am so fortunate because I get to capture those special moments. There’s really nothing like having two people in love in front of my camera.

Danny and Cathy got married in February last year and because they wanted to celebrate their love for each other again, they decided to do an encore session.
And as always, I am blown away at how lucky I am to be working with the most amazing people.
Danny and Cathy and that golden light was just a dream!

Beautiful images deserve to be showcased in the most beautiful albums.
I appreciate beautiful stationery; textured paper, letters, cards… So naturally I wanted to present my work in something beautiful too and I couldn’t have chosen a better album supplier than the folks over at Queensberry.
A few weeks ago I put together a series of layouts to showcase my work and to introduce these hand-crafted albums to my brides and grooms. Yesterday they arrived and I’m thrilled! These are built to last with the best materials and the craftsmanship is second to none. And of course, the images just come alive, touching them brings me back to the moment they were captured.
I can’t wait to make more of these!

This is the 10×10″ Gunmetal Buckram Flushmount Press Album printed on beautiful textured Nettuno paper.

This one is an 8×8″ Press Book with a designable cover and an ocean Mayu case printed on heavy satin paper.

Aylstone Retreat, Martinborough Encore Session: Wei & Sue

Wei and Sue were married a year ago in Wellington.
Unfortunately, it was wet and cold on their wedding day and they couldn’t do the outdoor shots that they wanted. So for their first year anniversary as a married couple they decided to do an encore session.
I felt really humbled that they chose me to document this special moment for them and the weather couldn’t have been any more perfect either.
Golden Autumn light + this gorgeous couple = perfection!
We started at Aylstone Retreat in Martinborough, where Wei proposed 2 years ago.

Wei and Sue, thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to capture your joy in front of my camera and for letting me get to know you even more.
