Jared and Liv are the kind of people who make you feel like you’ve been friends forever even though you had just met.
Liv is the kind of girl who can light up a whole town with her smile, and together they simply exude joy.
And to have played a part in their gorgeous day is something I’m really thankful for.

Everybody should experience Wanaka in Autumn.
The scenery looks even more spectacular with all the colours of Autumn.
And the light, don’t even get me started on that one.

John and Liz had THE most perfect day and as always, we are really grateful that we got to celebrate and document this beautiful day with them.

I met Michiel and Julia last year when they came home to New Zealand from Melbourne.
They traveled the world for 14 months before Michiel proposed on their 6th anniversary on a beach in Tasmania.
They told me stories from their travels and I honestly think there could not be two people more perfect for each other than these two gorgeous humans.

You know those days when you feel so lucky that you are where you are?
That’s how this day made me feel.
I felt like being surrounded by my own friends and family celebrating two people very dear to me.
Which is no surprise really since Michiel and Julia are some of the kindest people you will ever meet, and their family and friends are just the same.

Michiel and Julia, thank you for giving me the opportunity to capture this day for you. My face was hurting from smiling the whole day!
I wish you both a lifetime of many more adventures together and a home filled with laughter and love.

Wellington Wedding Photographer | Boomrock Wedding | Mark & Kate

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to blog about this wedding.
I remember this day so well because,
Firstly, It’s really hard to forget Mark and Kate, not only do they look gorgeous on the outside, they are also beautiful inside.
Secondly, I got to ride the helicopter for the first time that day!
Thirdly, Mark and Kate chose to do a ‘first look’ just before the ceremony and it was such an incredible feeling being able to capture it for them.
And lastly, the day was perfectly capped off with the most stunning sunset.
Wellington is notorious for its sunsets but the sunset that day was something else.
The sky looked like it was burning, and it was the most beautiful sight.

I think this quote perfectly sums up why I love what I do so much.

Destination Wedding Photographer | Cambridge Engagement Session | Alfred & Emma

I’m sure each one of us has our list of places we would love to visit one day.
I have to say Cambridge was never really on my list and I never really thought that I’d get to visit it one day.
But I did, and I even got to take my family with me.
Thanks to Alfred and Emma, who were the reason for our visit!
We even got to go on our private tour of Cambridge university because Alfred was teaching in one of the colleges at the time.
How awesome is that?!

I will forever be grateful for all the opportunities my job has given me.
Cambridge was possibly one of the most charming little towns I’ve seen, and I’m sure anyone who’d been there would agree with me when I say, it was hard not to fall in love with it.

Destination Wedding Photographer |London Anniversary Session | Jake & Jess

I can’t believe just last month we were in the northern hemisphere soaking up the sun and enjoying their Summer.
As much as I love the landscapes in New Zealand, I really look forward to the shoots and weddings I get to do in Europe.
The architecture combined with soft light and the most gorgeous couple, it’s definitely everything my heart desires!

You might remember Jake and Jess from the anniversary shoot that we did in Paris last year.
Still one of my favourite shoots to date!
So I was really glad when they decided to do their second year anniversary shoot with us again when we told them that we were going to be in London.

I’ve said this many times before, I love that this job has taken us to the most amazing places but I love it even more that we get to meet the most beautiful people through it. And if there’s only one word that could sum up this shoot, it would be dreamy.
