Boomrock is always amazing no matter the weather but even more so when there are beautiful people involved.
And because I’m always struggling to find time to do a full blogpost (because I am trying my hardest to edit all the amazing weddings I’ve covered this season as fast as I can), here’s a few sneak peeks from Mike and Amie’s stunner of a day.

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to blog about this wedding.
I remember this day so well because,
Firstly, It’s really hard to forget Mark and Kate, not only do they look gorgeous on the outside, they are also beautiful inside.
Secondly, I got to ride the helicopter for the first time that day!
Thirdly, Mark and Kate chose to do a ‘first look’ just before the ceremony and it was such an incredible feeling being able to capture it for them.
And lastly, the day was perfectly capped off with the most stunning sunset.
Wellington is notorious for its sunsets but the sunset that day was something else.
The sky looked like it was burning, and it was the most beautiful sight.

I think this quote perfectly sums up why I love what I do so much.

Destination Wedding Photographer |London Anniversary Session | Jake & Jess

I can’t believe just last month we were in the northern hemisphere soaking up the sun and enjoying their Summer.
As much as I love the landscapes in New Zealand, I really look forward to the shoots and weddings I get to do in Europe.
The architecture combined with soft light and the most gorgeous couple, it’s definitely everything my heart desires!

You might remember Jake and Jess from the anniversary shoot that we did in Paris last year.
Still one of my favourite shoots to date!
So I was really glad when they decided to do their second year anniversary shoot with us again when we told them that we were going to be in London.

I’ve said this many times before, I love that this job has taken us to the most amazing places but I love it even more that we get to meet the most beautiful people through it. And if there’s only one word that could sum up this shoot, it would be dreamy.

Wellington Wedding Photographer | Wedding Season Highlights 2016

It’s always bittersweet whenever we finish a wedding season because while I’m happy that I’ve got more time in my hands to finish all the personal projects that I want to do, and see my friends, I miss photographing and documenting weddings too.
This wedding season was nothing short of amazing and I just want to dedicate this post to all our beautiful couples for the trust that they’ve given me.
For letting us into their lives and allowing us to be a part of something so wonderful.

My heart is overflowing with gratitude and joy.
You may not know it, but you fuel my passion and inspire me to keep growing and learning.

Boomrock Wedding: Michael & Miranda

I met Miranda on 01.01.2011.
I remember it well because it was the first time I photographed an Indian wedding and I remember working alongside her when she was doing the makeup for the bride.
There’s a lot of good things our photography journey has brought us to, but I will always be grateful for the friendships that have been formed through it.
My friendship with Miranda is one of them, and I couldn’t be more honoured to have documented her wedding day.

Mike and Miranda were married in the epic grounds of Boomrock and they celebrated their day with their families and closest friends.
It was a great day filled with so much laughter and happy tears with the clearest of skies.
Even all the stars were shining for them at the end of the night. It was a beautiful day from start to finish.

Mike and Miranda, thank you for letting me document this wonderful occasion for you.
I wish you both a lifetime filled with love and happiness.

Boomrock Wedding: Michael & Catherine

I’m about to start making a Queensberry album for this beautiful couple and looking at their photos just reminded me of how wonderful their wedding day was.
Boomrock is one of my most favourite venues in the country, I always get excited when a couple wants me to document their wedding there.
I mean, with its amazing views and the wonderful people who run it.. add to that a sunny day and two lovely individuals who are celebrating their love, it’s definitely a recipe for perfection.
And Michael and Catherine’s wedding day was just that, a perfect day filled with so much love and laughter.

Michael and Catherine, thank you so much again for having me and letting me capture these moments for you.
I wish you both a lifetime of many more adventures and beautiful days.
