Wellington Wedding Photographer | Rose & Smith Wedding | Tom & Char

Wellington Wedding Photographer

There are many things I love about weddings, but I think one of my absolute favourites is seeing how excited and joyful everyone is.
Tom & Char’s big day was exactly that.
I couldn’t remember a moment when I didn’t feel just how joyful everyone was.
Being surrounded and celebrating with their favourite people, laughing, crying and dancing the night away was everything they wanted their day to be, and it couldn’t have been any more perfect.

Queenstown Wedding Photographer | Millbrook Resort Queenstown Wedding | Troy & Vi

Troy and Vi planned for a winter wonderland wedding but the weather God had other plans and gave them the most Summer-like day
on the last day of Winter last year. And despite the not so very wintery day that they had hoped for, they celebrated in style with the biggest smiles on their faces!

Troy and Vi, thank you for letting us be a part of your day!
Getting to know you and your families was the best part of documenting your day!
Love always,
Candy

Wellington Wedding Photographer | Brackenridge Wedding | Patrick & Isabelle

We did a crazy thing in January, where we photographed 4 weddings in a row, and 10 in total for the month of Jan.
I thought I would be exhausted and won’t have the energy and motivation to photograph the rest of our wedding season, but being around happy people really is contagious.

Patrick and Isabelle’s wedding was one of those weddings we photographed in January.
It was a little touch and go with the weather but when you’re surrounded by people who love you the most, and who are there to celebrate one of the happiest days of your life with you, who really cares if it rains a little right?

Wanaka Wedding Photographer | The Lookout Lodge Wanaka, Wedding | John & Elizabeth

I talk about how important it is to connect with my clients a lot.
Since I’m probably the one couples spend the most of their time with on their wedding day, having that connection helps me tell their stories even better.
I met John at one of my couples’ weddings in 2016, he was the emcee for that day.
So I was thrilled when I got an email from him a few months later asking if I’d be interested in documenting their wedding in Wanaka!
I don’t think any photographer in their right mind would say no to that opportunity really, especially when you’re going to be working with the most lovely people.

Every single one of their guests traveled to celebrate with them.
And when I asked them why they chose to get married in Wanaka, they simply said that it’s their most favourite place in the world.
