I love engagement sessions. It’s the most perfect time to get to know my couples and talk about anything.
It’s just like hanging out with friends and taking photographs of them at their most candid.
A couple of weeks ago, I got to spend some time getting to know Lyall and Kate during their engagement session.
It was a beautiful afternoon filled with lots of laughter and the most amazing Autumn light.
You know sometimes when you see a couple and even though you don’t know them you’re suddenly smiling and going awww in your head?
Jonny and Lauren are one of those couples.
They are also one of the sweetest and loveliest, not to mention gorgeous human beings in the planet, so you can probably imagine how excited I am to be photographing their wedding.
And it is happening tomorrow!
I almost want to dance in my little office because I can’t wait to document their day.
I just know it is going to be amazing.
But for now, here they are just being their wonderful selves.
It was one of those beautiful afternoons in Wellington when I met with Hayden & Cherie for their engagement session.
To be honest, when a couple is as in love as them, there’s really nothing left for me to do than to just click away and capture what’s happening in front of me.
I can’t wait to document many more amazing memories for these two on their wedding day.
