I cannot believe how fast this year is flying.
When our wedding season ended, I had big plans of blogging the many beautiful weddings we documented last Summer, but somehow even our Winter just seemed busy.
I always get asked what my favourite venue is, and while I can’t single pick just one, because there’s just way too many beautiful places in Wellington and New Zealand in general – Boomrock is definitely high up on that list.
Mike and Amie celebrated their wedding with their closest family and friends in probably one of the most beautiful Summer days we had this year.
We all know people are still talking about the Summer that didn’t happen, but this this day was definitely an exception.
It was a perfect day filled with sunshine, laughter and love. Lots of it.

As if we’re not lucky enough to get invited into people’s lives to document one of the happiest days of their lives, we also get to see so many amazing places when we’re doing this.
I met Carlos and Rosina and their two adorable kids in Wellington last year when they flew up from Christchurch to look at Boomrock.
